The 2015 nissan atima power steering noise is possibly caused by a problem with the power steering fluid that the pump is attempting to push. If you've kept up with routine maintenance of your vehicle, including replacing the power steering fluid as required, the noise is more likely due to air bubbles in your system, power steering leak, or power steering pump failure.
I have the same problem with my 2018 took it to dealership 2 different ones say that natural for them to make that noise. I’m very upset I think the pumps going out but they keep saying it’s normal.
