The most common reason that Your 2015 Subaru Forester will leak water beneath it is from the AC system. This is normal and is condensation that is formed while the AC is running. This will usually be found under the front right side of the vehicle. If Your Forester has water that is leaking in the cabin then there could be a few issues. The first is a clogged condensation line that is causing it to back up into the condenser and leak on the passenger floor. Another possible reason for interior leaks are bad gaskets on the doors and windows that are not seated properly. This can allow rainwater to get into Your car while You are parked.

My 2015 Subaru Forester gets water under the floor mats, mostly on the driver side. I clean the drain lines and rarely run the air conditioner.I keep a baby diaper under the mat to absorb water. I think it is from rain, because I notice it after big rain storms. It is a certified car with extended warranty and I am wondering if the dealer will look at causes at no charge.

Some of the causes for a 2015 subaru forester to have a water leak is a damage windshield seal, door weather stripping detached or damaged, and the clogged sunroof drain hose.
