The Chevy 3500Lug nut socket size is 13/15''. Making sure Your tires are in the greatest of condition is key to not crashing. You will come into issues with this part at some time or another. You could face cupping problems. You might run into feathering problems. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. The part may become loose at some point. Check for holes, in case You run over a nail. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month. This part will need to be replaced eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any wrecks on the road.

A 13/16 is too small; I just tried. Linda A is for the most part correct at 13/15" = .866". However 22mm = .866". So use a 22mm socket. I tried it and it works. I have to go buy a quality 22mm socket because the torque required for the dually tires is 175 foot pounds and my cheap 22mm socket is getting stuck on the lug nut with that high of torque.
