No worries, we've all been there; You go to change Your own oil, and suddenly You're stuck with the filter. The caps can be notoriously difficult to remove, and even more so if You're not aware of the size socket You need. In the case of the Chevrolet Cruze, You'll be looking for a 24mm wrench or socket. This translates well to a 15/16 inch standard size as well, if You want to go that route. If this doesn't fit, there's a high potential that the cap is rounded off. In that case, You'll need to use a specialty tool to loosen it, like a very large Gator Grip or similar. It's good to have a backup handy, since it's not advisable to replace a stripped cap.
