The stock sound system in Your 2003 Dodge Durango haS6-¾ inch woofers and a pair of tweeters in the front doors and 6-¾ inch coaxial speakers in the rear. The rear speaker placement varies based on what trim and Audio package Your Durango has. To replace the front speakers You only need to remove the door panels which requires only simple hand tools to accomplish. Once You have the door panels off You will need to remove the stock woofers and replace them with the new ones. Most retailers will sell You a speaker plug adapter that connects to the factory harness so You dont have to cut or splice any of the stock wiring to connect the new speakers. The only other thing You have to worry about is making sure the replacements are not too deep which would stop the windows from going all the way down.
