The 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 series haS6 x 9" speakers in the front doors, 6 1/2" in the rear doors, and 3 1/2" speakers in the dash at the corner if You have the upgraded stereo option. This is convenient because many of the aftermarket speakers on the market will be able to fit Your truck without any adapter plates or modification. Changing the speakers out in Your truck is a great way to improve the Audio quality and make Your truck more custom to what You want. If You are looking for even higher fidelity You should also add a different amplifier or change the head unit out to one with more controls.

Not mine. My daytona edition has 6x9 in the rear behind the seats in panels(2 door cab) & 5 1/4 inch speakers in the doors. Everywhere i look ppl say they have 6x9" in their doors. Why is mine different?
