The owners manual for the 2010 Nissan Maxima suggests using a genuine Nissan long life antifreeze/coolant or some kind of equivalent brand. It must have A50% mix of anti-freeze as well as distilled or demineralized water or else You run the risk of doing damage to Your cooling system. Making sure You're never low on coolant is an important part of Your car maintenance because an overheating engine could quickly lead to damaged components. All You need to do is locate the coolant reservoir and pour in a bit more if You notice that the fluid is below the MINImum line marked on the side and You'll be fine. -
