The 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee uses Mopar OEM coolant for Jeep vehicles. If You are adding coolant make sure that this is what You have in Your vehicle because mixing different types of coolant can cause corrosion to develop in Your cooling system which can damage it. In general it is always better to top off coolant with distilled water if You are unable to determine what You have. There are many different types of coolant that are on the market and they all have different freeze and boiling points depending on the additives that are in them. Jeep recommends that You use their OEM coolant because it is designed to work best with Your engine.

For the 2014 jeep grand cherokee and onwards. Petronas Paraflu up, is the exact specification as mopar and is used by some jeep dealers. It is a different colour to the mopar but don't let that worry you. It is also third the price of mopar.
