The 2018 Hyundai Elantra uses green coolant for Asian vehicles. It is an organic acid technology coolant so You will want to make sure to find that. You should not mix different types of coolant in Your vehicle because it can reduce the cooling capacity as well as damage the lines in Your engine. Different chemicals mixing together can cause rust to form in the lines inside Your engine and that can clog it up and damage it. If You are unsure what type of coolant You have in Your car then You should top it off with distilled water. The water will not cause any damage to Your engine and will only slightly reduce the cooling capacity until You get the right coolant.

"The water will not cause any damage to Your engine and will only slightly reduce the cooling capacity until You get the right coolant." In response to above comment.....water is the coolant in radiator systems LMAO!!! Antifreeze is exactly what it sounds like along with corrosion protection and raises the boil point of water. ANTIFREEZE DOES NOT COOL
