If You've got a 2013 Chevy Malibu You can use either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid. The brand You choose is up to You and many people go with Prestone because of how readily available and affordable it is. You can pick up a 32 oz container of their synthetic brake fluid from a place like Walmart for as little as $7 and it comes with A50,000 mile guarantee. If You need to check on Your brake fluid levels just look under the hood and up towards the top of the driver side of the engine. You'll find the reservoir there and You can easily check if Your fluid is below the MINImum level and if it is just pour in a bit more. -
