The 2013 Ford C-Max uses OEM Ford Motorcraft coolant. Ford has determined that this is the best coolant to keep Your engine running at optimal temperatures while You are driving. Ford will always fill the coolant with this at a dealership, but if You have been to a third party mechanic then You will want to confirm this is the coolant they use before topping it off. Mixing different coolants can limit the effectiveness of them, and it can also lead to damage to the lines for Your cooling system. If You are unsure what coolant You have and it is low I recommend topping it off with distilled water since that will not cause any damage to the system.

The coolant for the 2013 ford c max is the autozone 50/50 dex-cool antifreeze and coolant 1 gallon.
