The 2003 Chevy TrailBlazer came factory standard with A4.2 L 6-cylinder engine across all trim levels. Chevy offered no upgrade option so every model is going to have this same motor. This engine is going to need to run on synthetic 5W-30 oil. If You live in an extremely cold climate You'll want to use 10W-30 in order to avoid having the oil freeze. The oil capacity will be 7 US quarts when the filter is included. This is quite a large capacity so You can expect to spend around $40 to $50 to fully fill up this vehicle.
