The type of power steering fluid that should be used in the 2019 Toyota Sequoia is any DEXRON II or IIiAutomatic transmission fluid. For the amount You put You look at the reservoir for the fluid and You fill it to the maximum line. Leaving it under or above the MINImum or maximum line can cause problems with the vehicle. Power steering fluid is hydraulic fluid that transfers the power in the steering system to make it easier for You to turn the wheels. When checking or adding more fluid You should wipe off the cap so no dirt or anything gets into the reservoir. The cost of fluid for the Sequoia is anywhere from $7 to $12 depending on the store.

Your Toyota is equipped to use Dexron II or III ATF automatic transmission fluid to lubricate its power steering assembly.

It might be different depending on the year, make, and model of your car. Sometimes newer cars need different parts and/or fluids. You could probably find it by looking at Toyota’s website or an independent car parts store website. You can just plug in your cars info and it should tell you what you need.
