There are a huge number of possibilities as to why the check engine light in Your 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid may be illuminated. This also extends to other vehicles -- the check engine light is a sort of "catch all" for a lot of the vehicle's issues. This means You'll need to pull diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) via an OBD-II scanner to pinpoint Your troubles. Some of the most common reasons include an EVAP emissions leak (anything from a loose gas cap to a rotted out purge canister), engine cylinder mIS Fires, bad spark plugs, a failed thermostat, or bad oxygen sensors. The issues really range from nearly everything to almost anything; You'll need to pull the DTCs before we can tell You more.

If the check engine light on the 2019 ford fusion hybrid is on then you may have a couple off different issues. Realistically it can come on anytime the ecu detects and error and stores a trouble code. To check the code you will need to hook the vehicle up to a obd scanner and read the code. The light can also come on when you are approaching a service milestone. Issue that cause it can include a loose gas cap, leaks in the vacuum seals, engine misfires, low oil pressure, bad spark plugs, or really anything else. The check engine light is a catch all to alert you that something is wrong, but that something can cover nearly anything on the vehicle. Often it is minor, but it should not be ignored.
