The most common cause of a clunking sound coming from the front end of Your 2015 Nissan Frontier is going to be the front CV axles. These are the parts that connect the transmission to the front wheel hub. When these go bad You will start to hear a loud clunking anytime You steer the vehicle in the direction of the failing part. Replacing them is a fairly easy job if You have a jack and stands plus a decent set of hand tools. The part itself is usually around $150.00. If You have a manual transmission You will need to pick up a couple bottles of gear oil to replace what comes out when You remove the axle since the lubricant will drain from the open connecting box.

If your 2015 Nissan frontier vehicle is experiencing clunking or thumping noises from the car's front end, you are most likely dealing with failed wheel bearings or broken tie rods. Have your suspension diagnosed.
