The 2000 Honda Accord v6 code P1399 means there is a random mIS Fire in the engine. A random mIS Fire code usually means the air/fuel mixture is running lean. But the cause might be anything from a hard-to-find vacuum leak to d***y fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, a weak ignition coil, bad plug wires, or compression problems. Even a d***y MAF sensor can cause a lean code and/or mIS Fire to occur. The mass airflow sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine or the airflow. A contaminated or failed mass airflow sensor cannot measure the amount of airflow correctly. This causes the engine computer to miscalculate the amount of injected fuel.
