The fuel pump relay in a 2001 Honda CR-V is located in the main fuse panel that is under the hood. This relay distributes power to Your fuel pump from the battery. You will be able to identify it using the cover on the fuse panel which names and labels what each fuse and relay goes to. If You notice that Your pump is not working then the first thing You should do is check this for continuity. Removing and replacing the relay is also a good way to reset Your fuel pump if it does not work. Cutting power for about 5 minutes to it will allow the pump to fully reset and that can sometimes solve problems.

Under the hood in front of battery there is a plastic box 2"x 4". Print on top says pump relay. This is 2001 crv.
