The 2001 Toyota Camry is able to hold 6.7 quarts of coolant. When You need to change coolant You should always use OEM Toyota long life coolant. You should check Your coolant every time that You change the oil in Your car to make sure that it is properly filled. If the coolant levels get too low that can lead to damage to Your engine if it were to overheat. Toyota dealerships will always use OEM Toyota coolant, but if You have had it serviced by a third party shop they may have used something else. In general if You are not sure what coolant You have in Your car You should top it off with distilled water only so that You do not mix coolant types.
