If You have a 2002 Chevy Blazer with an automatic transmission You'll be using Dexron IIiAutomatic transmission fluid and if You've got a manual You will need SynC-HRomesh transmission fluid. If You do normal every day driving in regular conditions then You probably only have to worry about changing Your transmission fluid and filter every 50,000 miles or so. However, if You frequently drive in city traffic with temperatures exceedinG90 degrees fahrenheit, drive a lot in hilly terrain, or use Your vehicle for towing trailers on a regular basis You should change it much more frequently. Every 15,000 miles or so is recommended under these conditions according to the manual. -
