The 2003 Honda Pilot has a transmission dipstick that is fairly easy to locate. It can be found inside the engine bay, toward the back of the motor. The transmission will be close to the firewall. To check the fluid levels, first remove the dipstick from the reservoir. Wipe off the end of the stick, and re-insert it into the reservoir. Pull it out a second time, and check the fluid level. You can expect to pay between $4 and $24 per one quart container of transmission fluid at most major retailers, or any automotive parts and accessories location.
