The tire size used for the base model of the 2003 MitsubishiMontero Sport is P235/75R15. Mitsubishi says that a safe tire pressure to use for this vehicle is somewhere between 29 and 35 PSI. 29 is a bit on the low side and I'd recommend going up closer to the 35 PSiMark. You'd rather have Your tires being overinflated rather than underinflated. While people may think that too much air in the tires can lead to a blowout it's actually the opposite. A deflated tire makes more contact with the road and can heat up quicker which can lead to a blowout or just having Your tires wear down quicker than they should. -
