The 2004Chevrolet Silverado uses a 9145 fog light bulb size, and can also accommodate an LED variant over the traditional bulbs. To replace the fog lights, You'll need to remove the headlight housing. To do this, You'll pull out the fastening pin at the top of the headlight housing, enabling it to come loose. At this point, You can twist the headlight bulb itself out of the socket, pulling them out of it. Put those somewhere safe. Underneath where the headlight housing was is the socket for the fog light bulb. Reach down and twist that socket loose and pull it out: You can just pull the old fog light bulb straight out from the socket and insert a new one, by simply snapping it in. Then, reverse the procedure to put everything back together.
