The 2005 Chrysler Sebring is fitted with an EGR valve as defined with in factory requirements. The EGR valve can be found mounted to the rear left cylinder head and connected to the intake manifold. Exhaust gas recirculation is a means for exhauSTSystems to regulate the release of nitrogen in vehicles. The EGR can achieve this by lowering the concentration of oxygen within the combustion chamber. You can even strip them and clean them since they don't have to be reused several times because they're just dusty. The EGR valve, if needed to be replaced, would cost approximately $30-$60 depending on whether it is an OEM or an aftermarket component.
