The 2005 Dodge Magnum speed sensor location is near the tires. You will have 4 of them in the car. They measure the revolutions of the tire in order to tell the ECU what speed the car is going. If one of the sensors goes bad then things like the speedometer may be incorrect, and the engine may not function right as it is confused about the speed and the amount of power it needs to produce. A warning light will come on if one of them is bad, and they are cheap to fix. About 40 dollars, and easy to swap out, You should not ignore this as it can lead to long term damage or a speeding ticket.

The speed sensor can be found on the right side of the transmission near the output shaft in the 2005 dodge magnum.
