There is no location for the cabin air filter in the 2005 Dodge Neon as Neons do not use them. What they use in place of them is a plastic mesh that will prevent debris from getting into the HVAC system. Unlike cabin air filters, this plastic mesh does not need to be replaced. If it had a cabin air filter, they tend to need to be replaced every 30,000 miles or so. It is possible to install a cabin air filter as an aftermarket part for the Neon. The typical place for a cabin air filter is usually behind the passenger side glove box or in the engine compartment towards the bottom of the windshield.
