The 2005 Ford F-350 truck has a turbine speed sensor, also referred to as a TSS. It can be found easily in the engine bay. The first thing You will need to do is go to the front of Your vehicle, and prop open the hood using the arm on the side of the compartment. Next, look along the top of the transmission, to the left, or passenger's side, of the engine block. There You will find the turbine speed sensor, nearest to the front of the tranny. Location is important, since there are two other sensors on the transmission. The ISS, or Intermediate Speed Sensor, is at the middle portion. The Output Speed Sensor, or OSS, can be found at the rear.

In addition to TSS and VSS, your 2005 F350 also has 4 individual Wheel Speed Sensors which feed information to the Antilock Braking System. WSS are located at each wheel, behind the brake discs/drums, on the wheel shafts.
