The fuel pressure regulator in a 2005 Honda Civic can be found at the gas tank in the back of the vehicle. It is installed on the fuel sending unit that is back there that includes the pump and filter as well. The fuel pressure regulator has the job of deterMINIng the pressure that the fuel goes through Your lines at. These lines will lead all the way up to the fuELRail and then the injectors. You will need a consistent flow of gasoline to prevent the car from stalling. If Your engine is running rough and sputtering it could be a problem with this regulator. Usually when it fails it will give a check engine light as well.
