The AC pressure switch in a 2005 Nissan Altima can be found on the high and low pressure lines for the AC system. This is used to measure the pressure of the freon or refrigerant in Your vehicle's AC system. When Your vehicle detects a problem with the pressures in the AC system it will usually let the ECU know this and then that code can be read with an OBD II scan tool. It is important to keep the pressures correct because that is how Your AC system works. If Your vehicle is low on refrigerant I recommend using an exchange tool that will drain the system then properly recharge it rather than something that will just top it off.
