The 2005 Nissan Xterra haS6 3/4 inch speakers that are found in the front and rear doors of the vehicle. This is not that common of a speaker size in the aftermarket world and You will likely need to purchase an adapter plate to be able to use A6 1/2" or 5 1/4" speaker in the doors. Upgrading the speakers in Your SUV is a great way to improve the sound quality in the vehicle. If You want even more fidelity You can add an amplifier as well to improve the output from the speakers. There are also options to upgrade the head unit so You have more control over the Audio from Your car.

The Xterra uses 2 ohm door speakers that are 6 inches by 9 inches and rear speakers which are 6 and 3/4 inch.

The 2005 nissan xterra features 8" speakers under the front seat, 2 ohm 6-3/4" speakers in the rear doors, 2 ohm 6-3/4" speakers rear door woofers, and tweeters in the rear doors.
