The 2005 Volkswagen Beetle has an oxygen sensor that is somewhat difficult to locate. It will take around 5 to 7 minutes of Your time. First, You will need to go to the back of Your vehicle, and crouch down near the tail pipe. Make sure that the Your engine is off before doing this, so You don't breathe any exhaust. The sensor will be along the exhaust pipe, ahead of the catalytic converter. If the sensor is faulty, it will need to be replaced. This can cost You between $23 and $87 for parts alone. If You choose to have the service completed by an automotive technician, it will cost an additional $30 to $185 for labor.
