The 2006 Honda CR-V Mass Airflow Sensor (MAF) will be positioned just in front of the air filter housing between the alternator and the air compressor. Until removing the MAF sensor, make sure to attach the negative battery terminal and then use the flat head screw driver to lift the red safety tab to remove the MAF sensor. Some of the typical signs of this condition are rough idling, diMINIshed engine power, and reduced fuel economy. The most likely places to test the problem are the MAF indicator, the connectors and the wiring to see if there is a short or corrosion and to search the vacuum hoses for any leakage or disconnection.
