The mass air flow sensor in a 2006 Honda Odyssey can be found on the intake tubing to the right side of the air cleaner housing in the engine compartment. This sensor is a hard black plastic square and it will be screwed onto the side of the piping. This sensor has the job of deterMINIng the amount of air that is entering Your engine. This can help Your engine determine the amount of fuel that is needed to get an optimal detonation in Your cylinders. When this sensor is failing You will usually get a check engine light at Your dash and may notice that Your engine is running rough. The ECU relies on this sensor to make sure to measure all the air flow into Your engine.
