The 2006 Honda Ridgeline mass air flow sensor can be found on the intake on the right side of the air cleaner housing. It is a small plastic sensor that has a couple of wires going to it. The sensor has the job of measuring the amount of air that is entering the engine to optimize the combustion based on the rate of air. If You notice that Your engine is running rough then it could be a problem with this sensor. Typically when it is going bad You will get a check engine light to let You know that the ECU has detected a problem with it. Replacing it if it fails is a pretty simple thing to do and usually costs less than $100.

The mass air flow sensor is inside the intake air duct on the right side of the air cleaner housing at the left rear point of the engine compartment.
