The 2006 Nissan Frontiers fuel filter can be found near the interior of the gas tank, which is located towards the rear-left side of the vehicle. The fuel filter can be found in between the fuel tank and the engine. If Youre having trouble finding its exact location, consult Your owner's manual. That will offer an illustrated view of where it is. The fuel filter is very important, as it filters out impurities and debris so that the fuel doesnt carry any harmful elements into the engine. Nissan recommends changing the filter once every 150,000 miles, depending largely on use and maintenance. If the car is being used in sandy terrain, its best to change the filter every 100,000 to 125,000 miles to MINImize the potential effects.
