The 2006 Volvo S60 uses SAE 5w-30 viscosity, fully synthetic motor oil in its 2.5 liter engine. The vehicle has an oil capacity of 4.2 US quarts. You can find these oils at any maSSRetail location. You can also find them at an automotive parts and accessories store, or online from trusted sellers. You can expect to pay between $2.56 and $9.32 per bottle. If You choose to have the change completed by an automotive service technician, or by a mechanic, You can expect to pay an additional $42 to $165 for labor. You may also want to invest in a $1 to $3 funnel, to help prevent spills during the exchange. An oil change should be obtained every 10,000 miles, or 12 months, whichever occurs first.

The capacity is higher than listed above. 5.8 qts if changing the oil filter element. Add 4,1/2. Then slowly add according to the dipstick reading. Make sure the vehicle is on level ground when refilling. All ow time for the oil to stain down into the pan before checking the dipstick reading and do not overfill.
