The 2007 Chevy Suburban came straight from the factory with A4 speed 4L80-E automatic transmission as standard. This transmission will need to use Dexron VI but You also the the option of using multivehicle transmission fluids. The transmission will have an initial fill level of 7.7 US quarts but the complete fill up will be 13.5 U quarts. You're going to need to change out the fluids every 60,000 to 90,000 miles. This means You'll probably only need to do this 2 or 3 times over the life time of the vehicle. If You want to take it in to a shop the cost will be between $175 and $300.
