If You're like me and live in a state that requires emissions inspections, then failure of an EVAP component is likely a perennial thorn in Your side. In the case of the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe, it's luckily quite easy to find. As a 2009 Chevy Suburban owner myself, I've performed a similar replacement in the past; I can tell You that it's much more economical to perform on Your own. You'll need to lift the vehicle, if possible, to gain access to the side of the fuel tank. There, You'll find the EVAP vapor canister. It's a plastic container that's connected to three vapor hoses and a single electrical harness; if You see it, it's almost impossible to miss.
