The 2007 Nissan Xterra has a turbine speed sensor which can be located in the engine bay. It is somewhat easy to find, and it will only take 3 to 5 minutes of Your time. The firSTStep You need to take is to go to the front of Your vehicle, and open the hood. Using the prop arm on the side of the engine compartment, stand the hood open securely. Now, look to the input, or left, side of the transmission. You will find the revolution, or turbine sensor, on the output section. If it is faulty, it will need to be replaced. You can expect to shell out between $24 and $139 for a new part.
