The auxiliary input location, or aux port, on the 2007 Volvo S40 is located in the middle console. This is the console between the driver side and passenger side chains in the front. If You open the console You will see a small round hole. This is a 3.5-millimeter jack, and it what You will need to plug Your phone or laptop into if You are wanting to play Audio files. Once You have the device plugged in You will need to change the radio to aux mode using the auxButton on the front. After this has been done any Audio that is played through the connected device will be played on the radio. Note that the volume of the media will be determined by the device as well as the radio.
