The 2008 Chevy TrailBlazer 4.2 uses SAE 5w-30 full synthetic oil. It has a capacity of 6.9 quarts with a filter. Oil keeps the internal parts of Your engine lubricated and it also removes dirt, sludge, and other impurities which will keep Your vehicle running smoothly. The cost of an oil change for Your Trailblazer is between $170 and $230 for labor and parts. You should get an oil change every 7,500 miles. Warning signs while driving that You need an oil change include engine noise, a ticking engine, transmission shifting issues, shaking while idling, and poor fuel economy. Exterior signs that You need an oil change would include smoke instead of regular exhaust and oil leaks where You are parked.
Well I tried the synthetic blend and the full synthetic but my truck seem to run better on just regular oil 5W30 no synthetic genuine motor oil because when I change to synthetic I can hear lifters tapping in my truck start changing the way it shifts while driving
