You'll find the oil pressure sensor location on the 2008 Dodge Ram 1500Located towards the back of the engine compartment, near the vertical filter by the hoses. A replacement part that's compatible is the MasterPro Ignition Oil Pressure Switch from O'Reilly's, which runs around $39. Signs that this switch may be failing are that You see the oil pressure light on, or if it's blinking constantly. Additionally, the Low Oil Light maybe come on and off, or You might see the oil pressure gauge showing zero. It's possible that You actually don't have any oil, but Your engine will have seized up were that the case, so it usually indicates a malfunction with this sensor.
