The 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 cabin air filter can be found behind the dashboard on the passenger side behind the glove compartment. To access the filter You will need to remove Your glove boxAnd then You can access the panel that is behind it and the filter is in there. The cabin air filter is used to clean the air that goes through Your HVAC system. The stock filter from Dodge is made of folded paper, but there are carbon, charcoal, and filters with baking soda in them to help Your truck stay fresher smelling for longer. I recommend checking Your cabin air filter at least once a month to make sure that it is free from signs of debris or mold.

The air filter on the 2008 dodge ram is under the hood inside a rectangular cold air collector box that's located up near the front of the engine compartment.
I have a 2008 Dodge ram 1500 4.7 4x4 there is no cabin filter behind the glove box, why is it that a 2008 does not have a cabin filter. AC is not blowing hard, first thought cabin filter stopped up, nope because there is none
