It's suggested that for the 2008 GMC Acadia coolant You use DEX-COOL antifreeze mixed with 50% water. This mixture should be good for 5 years or 150,000 miles in most cases. If You notice that You're loosing coolant quicker than that You may have a leak in Your system and should get it checked out. If You're unsure if You're running low it's easy to check out Your levels. The coolant reservoir is a clear container with a black cap and it should have a line for the MINImum and maximum levels. If it's beneath the MINImum line then add a bit more until You get up to the max level. -
