The 2008 Lincoln MKX has an output speed sensor that can be found inside the engine bay. It is located in the area to the right back side of the transmission. It will be found near the tail shaft, which is underneath the hood of the vehicle. You will have to pay around $20 to $58 for a new one, if the sensor has gone bad. You will need to pay out another $50 to $140 for labor if You choose to have it replaced by a trained auto service professional.
