The 2008 Mazda6 useS5W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil. Your car will hold up to 4.5 US quarts. The cost of 5 quarts is usually somewhere around $15 to $30 depending on what brand Youre most comfortable using. If You want a long life out of Your car, its very important that You stay on top of oil change maintenance schedules. Its advised that You change the oil once every 7,500 miles or so, and You should be checking the oil levels once a month. Always make sure that the oil doesnt drop below the min line, or crawl above the max line. Too little oil and too much oil are both bad for Your car.
