The 2008 Ram 1500 starter relay location is beneath the fuse panel under the hood. You will come into problems with the battery during the life cycle of the vehicle. There can be a leak, causing the fluid to spill out. The battery can just die. You will need to recharge or replace it at this point. A cracked case could arise and will need to be replaced completely. The battery can drain rapidly and will need to fixed. This part of the car will eventually become ineffective. The battery will need to be replaced every 50,000 to 60,000 miles. It might coSTSome money, but You will have to cough up the cash to keep Your car running.

The starter relay in a 2008 ram 1500 is located in the main fuse panel under the hood.

I’ve been told the ignition switch is incorporated into the fuse panel itself.

It seems the manufacturer wants us to have to bring in to be fixed, because it seems like its nonexistent. But we know it's there somewhere, Super confused as to why it wasn't just mounted in or behind the fuse box under the hood

Fixed mine today, 2008 ram 1500. Started and ran to where i parked it a year ago. The start relay is soldered into a circuit board that is part of the fuse box...why?...$$$$ The relay itself is cheap, the replacement part is not. While troubleshooting I ran a jumper wire to the start terminal on the starter. The starter cranked, however after using the jumper wire to test the starter, the key worked to crank the engine....back feed magic? Don't look a gift horse in the mouth I was taught!

From my understanding the starter relay on my 2008 dodge ram 1500 with a 4.7 is inside the TIPM module and is soldered on the circuit board. The TIPM modules are crazy expensive and I can't find a replacement relay to solder on myself.
