What's the 2009 Ford Flex brake fluid type?

For the 2009 Ford Flex it is recommended that You use Motorcraft High Performance DOT 3 brake fluid. When Your brake fluid levels get too low You will receive a warning in Your vehicle. In order to get this warning to reset You just need to add some more fluid. Pop Your hood and locate the reservoir, it is next to the battery along the driver side of the engine and it's clear with a black cap. On the side of the reservoir You'll see a marker for the MINImum amount and another for the maximum. Pour in Your fluid until You hit the maximum amount and then You'll be good to go. -
