The 2009 Honda CR-V came standard with a 2.4 L 4Cylinder engine across all trim levels and there was no ability to upgrade to anything else. This engine will have a capacity of 4.4 US quarts when the filter is included and 4.2 US quarts when the filter is not included. You will need to use 5W-30 synthetic blend oil and many users of this vehicle recommend using Honda's OEM oil for the best performance. The oil drain plug will have a head size of 16mm and if You have access to a torque wrench You will want to set it to 25 ft/lbs in order to remove it.
