The 2009 Toyota Corolla is going to need to use red type 50/50 coolant and antifreeze. This red colored coolant is somewhat uncommon and not what Toyota usually uses on their vehicles. You should perhaps call ahead before You head down to Your local store to see if they have any or better yet just order online if possible. The coolant capacity for all trim levels of this year are going to be 5.8 US quarts. You're going to need to buy probably one large jug of coolant and one smaller one to get the entire full capacity You'll need to fill up Your vehicle.
