The cooling system of the 2010 AudiQ5 is designed to use a G12++ ethylene glycol based coolant with a stabilized silicon additive. The coolant system on the Q5 is sealed and will rarely need any servicing. But if You notice the temperatures increasing You may want to check to be sure the level is within the operating range if not, add enough to bring the coolant level between the MIN and Max mark on the coolant Overflow reservoir. Do not fill coolant above the "MAX" mark. Excess coolant will be forced out through the pressure relief valve in the cap when the engine becomes hot. The coolant not only protects the engine from overheating but will also prevent it from freezing during the winter.

The 2010 audi a5 requires either g12 or g13 approved audi/vw coolant.
